Cosmetic vs. Symptomatic Patients

The cosmetic patient simply doesn’t like the way their spider veins look (most often on the legs, but sometimes on their face or hands). We have the technology and specialized experience to remove any unsightly vein, but the surgery cannot be covered under medical insurance since it’s done purely for cosmetic reasons.

However, in some cases if a patient has symptoms associated with their varicose or spider veins such as leg aching, throbbing, swelling, restlessness, nocturnal calf cramps, pain, ulcers or clots, then most medical insurances cover the cost of surgery.

We offer patients a complimentary consultation so we can personally evaluate their condition and make a treatment plan.
